Naomi Kingery
Naomi Kingery, also known as The Diabetic Diva®, was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 12. Through the years she has used her voice in the diabetes community as an author of The Sugar Free Series, a blogger, and a Diabetes Advocate.
Her personal connection with the diabetes business unit of Medtronic began in 2002 when she began on the insulin pump. After seeing what a difference it made in managing her health, she became a Patient Ambassador to tell others about it. And in 2009 she chose to build a career at Medtronic and has since worked in varied roles ranging from Customer Experience Excellence to The 24-Hour HelpLine Team. Naomi now works for Medtronic as the Social Community Manager for the Public Relations Team and is looking forward to helping to build out the online Medtronic communities to meet the needs of people with diabetes, including The LOOP blog!
