About Us
Welcome to The LOOP! This blog was created by Medtronic as way for us to “Close the Loop” with our loyal customers and the diabetes online community (DOC). Many of you have told us that you would like us to participate in the DOC. The LOOP is just one small but important first step in or effort to do just that.
The focus of our discussion here is living with diabetes, managing it with technology and, one day, “Closing the Loop” with an artificial pancreas.
This is a group blog. Amanda Sheldon, Director of Public Relations, is the Managing Editor and several individuals from the Medtronic team regularly offer up tips, resources and product updates – as well as some personal experiences about living with diabetes. From time to time, we also feature guest bloggers who are either Medtronic employees or other members of the DOC with interesting perspectives to share.
We also use The LOOP to gather thoughts and feedback from the DOC that help us continue to improve our products and services, so we encourage you to participate. We’d love to hear from you!
